I'm an 80 mpw runner currently in pretty serious training (Lots of miles at lactate threshold, some at VO2 max.) I'm also going to the Carribean next week to scuba dive for the first time ever, and I'll continue training while I'm down there. My question is, does anyone know whether this kind of running will make me more prone to decompression sickness while diving? I heard that "strenuous exercise" does screw with dive tables and makes decompression sickness more likely. Any insight on whether this is a legitimate concern?
