After years of struggles and lackluster results I thought the end was near for her running career. She was turned in some nice results both on the track and road lately!

Has she split with God?
Maybe she took Ryan's mojo? Only one Hall can run well at a time?
If that were the case, shouldn't she have been running really well for quite some time now? It's not like Ryan's been killing it...
Ryan has started a new career. He makes other runners run well. First was Meb, now it's Sara.

She has definitely had a resurgence under Magness. Just a better runner overall. It's amazing she's performing so well over so many distances. No specificity at all.

Yeah its good to see. Magness seems like a legit coach. I wish Sara the best.
And Ryan seems a little awful at this point, it'd be cool if he only ran 2:17 because he was drastically out of shape from missed training in 2012/2013 from injury, but time will tell. If that's not the case, he should just do typical pro female runner hubby duties by pacing Sara in all her training.
Moving up in distance seems to have been a good move for her. The ran a 73 1/2 and can probably get that down to 71-72 with some more experience at the distance. 2:30 marathon should be in the cards. She isn't going to get much faster at 1500 or steeple and was always a ways off from where she needed to be to progress in her career.
You're likely a godless bigot LK, so why would you care?

I've been surprised and impressed by the range in distances she is racing and performing well at. Jumping back and forth from longer road races like a half or 10 miler to road miles to a steeple and then back to a longer road race again.
I spoke with her after her runner-up finish at Bay to Breakers if anyone is interested:
