Why wouldn't lasers be treated as the now banned xenon gas?
Sleazy still has these dopey eyes.
as always, dancing on the line between black and white.
His protégé Galen Rupp won a silver at the 2012 London Olympics in the 10K.
I was engaged as a reader until the above line.
Is "winning silver" or calling the 10000 a 10K your issue?
This is hilarious!
I posted on these boards a few months back that Salazar was using Lasers for injury prevention/treatment and it got deleted. Looks like I wasn't so crazy after all..... He pretty much bought up all the lasers on the market at any cost to try them all out. Literally spending up to 35,000 for a unit.
I don't think it should be banned and I also don't understand why my thread that was started in March was deleted.
I have spoken with the Reps that Salazar works with and some of the new lasers can detect inflammation and treat it instantly. Also, I am being told that Salazar will have his athletes put the laser on their heart and it will help lower HR and stimulate the heart to recover as well after a hard effort. Pretty much the new lasers can treat almost any muscular issue.

Yeah right.
I'm told they paid up to 5 Meeeelion dollars to attach the lasers to sharks to administer the treatment while they use their underwater treadmills.
Sigh... as a spectator, it's hard to root for something like this (reminds me of Ivan Drago's team). Even knowing Meb has done platelet rich plasma therapy doesn't sit right with me.
Notice how he didn't answer the question on drugs!
I categorize this with artificially inducing altitude with altitude tents. Ban both or allow both.
Almost all modern physical therapists are aware of this. But great detective work you psycho.
Great piece of quackery.

AlSal is a modern physical therapist? I, see...
Can't wait until Galen is outfitted with the latest laser headgear that will allow him to disintegrate the competition.

Because it's not performance enhancing. Should we ban ultrasound, ice machines (they make ice synthetically!), iontophoresis, or TENS?
Also, cut the NOP doper crap. If the NOP dopes, then so does True, Mead, Simpson, Meb, Flanagan, Mackey, Jäger, Hill, Huddle, Martinez, etc., because they're running just as well if not better. Just because you can't accept American distance running has its act together and kicking your ass, doesn't mean you have the right to make baseless accusations.

[Regarding the interviewer's question whether Drago had been given steroids as part of his training]
Ludmilla: Ivan is naturally trained.
Interviewer: Then how do you account for his freakish strength?
Ludmilla: Like your Popeye, he ate his spinach every day.
[everyone else laughs, including Koloff]
