    Nah dude- the difference is just Centro. You swap him and Jordan and don't change the rabbits or pace and Centro runs 3:35 in heat 2 and Jordan/Casey run 3:37 in heat 1.

    As for my background as a 1500 meter guy- let's just say that I am qualified to talk about this. :)

    Wimped out is right. He had a smooth first 1000 and when the rabbit pealed off, McNamara wouldn't push at all even though he was class of the field.

    I agree. The former UO runners were the class of he field and ran similar until the bell. From my perspective the only real difference was that Centrowitz continued to push when inferior guys came up on him and Jordan let the inferior runners pass him.

    Looked like Casey, Gregson, etc benefited from Centro's push and the guys in hear 2 didn't receive that benefit from their top guy.

    The guys in heat 1 were a little stronger than heat 2, but in a 1500 the most important thing is pacing and Jordan was led right up to the bell, perfectly paced. Can't ask for much more than that.

    Not sure I get the whining on here, he had plenty opportunity to run as fast or faster, did not, plain and simple, fractions were there for him

    He may even be happy with his effort. It's all speculation and grew out of people complaining that he got screwed out of a chance to run fast, which now seems to have been out to bed.

    Regardless, the guy seems to be in killer shape right now.
