2nd positive is lifetime ban right?
title of this thread is misleading. This is her first time she is caught, nonetheless there have been a lot of rumours of her doping use, leading to the break with her coach Hudson. Unclear who's coaching her now.

The girl was in a relationship with 15 year older steeplechaser Simon Vroemen starting at age 17; a guy who wasn't exactly the cleanest bloke on the block.
If you're dealing with those kind of people that young, doping must be the same as eating, sleeping and training to you.
Furthermore; her dad was a reasonalbly good cross-country skiër...so that doesn't tell much good to,
Then there was herzog being managed by Matschiner; self proclaimed 'maker of champions' and initiator of the Human Plasma doping ring,
Her going to train with Pascua in Spain and her involvement with Alberto Leon (who killed himself after being exposed as a doping dealer in Óperacion Puerto) fit the profile of an abbusive user as well.
If you know that she has had anorexia when she was younger I think we have somewhat of a insecure girl that got involved with the wrong people at early age and doesn't know how to get over that insecurity by herself other than to run fast. Unfortunately she doesn't know running fast without dope.
Sad story. Hope it ends well for her on a personal level, but I fear for the worst here.
So all these cute little pointed jaws are due to testosterone use, not only HGH. Good to know! It means almost 100% of the track and filed athletes are using this stuff.
Hmmm, how about if all these athletes are on PEDs and the coaches know and even approve such activity? More likely. Lots cynicism going on in this story.
See her twitter, she's not living in Boulder (although she may go there to run). She's in Denver.
Her dad an XC skier? Since when did anyone Dutch do anything in XC skiing. And not everyone good at skiing is a doper you stupid douche.

HaHa - Hudson knew of the allegations long ago but did nothing until they came up again last fall and other athletes he coached demanded that he distance himself from her or they were leaving. He did so but it wasn't his idea and even had to have a few of his athletes at the meeting to back him up so he wouldn't wimp out.
Some in CO (Boulder area) has been coaching her since, rumors vary on who it is, some even speculating Hudson still is on the down low.
This is somewhere between a distortion and outright malarkey. Brad has his hands full in a good way with his core runners thriving and loving it! He doesn't need anyone with a specter of drugs in the mix and Herzog has been gone for many months now. Brad doesn't think ill of her as a person and "gets it" but your assessment that he's involved with her now beyond possibly the occasional e-mail or text is waaaaaaaaaaaaay off.
Then why is Adriana Nelson Pirtea being coached by him? She was working with Lee Troop. Troop dropped her as an athlete because she had to fly home for some "B12" injections. It just raised too much of a red flag for Troopy to continue working with her.

Herzog got busted while training alone - not with any group. She's always been lone wolf type. The groups in Boulder are just one huge revolving door. There doesn't seem to be any "tight" groups like in Oregon.
Coaches probably have no idea what anyone is doing on their own.

When Martin Fagan was busted with EPO he was staying in Abdi's house. Fagan said nobody knew what he was doing. May or may not be true but just because you've run with the person, or coached the person doesn't mean you know what's up.
That should tell you all you need to know about Abdi.

I guess it's someone that was cleared of all doping charges.

That still says nothing. The poster that initiated that innuendo demonstrates false logic at its worst. For one thing go back 40 or 50 years and name one Dutch Nordic skier who scored World Cup points, let alone a top 10 or podium finish at the Olympics. The Dutch are not skiers. And contrary to the belief of the typical stupid letsrunner m

Yeah doping for a year or two is as habitual as eating and sleeping for 17 years. Some of you are complete idiots.
