I think it's cool that three old hansons roommates will be racing in Birmningham. However, to say that Baker and Johnson owned Verran everyday cannot be 100% true. Verran (not know for his blazing speed) owned these two in the mile this particular day as well as winning the 3000 later on in 8:02. See the link below.
Wow. I'm surprised more hasn't been made of Philemon, Chad, and Nick Rodgers' upcoming debuts. I would say that Chad has the best chance out of the three. Philemon hasn't shown much improvement since becoming a US and I think 26.2 might be a little out of Nick's range.
As for the debate: Hanson's vs. Alberto in the coaching department.....that's a no-brainer. Hansons have proven they're the best at developing distance runners. No question.
