Other than the tailwind year, you know, the year Ryan Hall ran 2:04 and still thinks that's not a fluke... Meb's race today is faster than most Boston Marathon wins in the last 30 years.
It's funny to me how many people think Boston is a Barn Burner because of that day... the 2:05 in 2010 is by far and away the best race ever on this course, on any other win, a 2:08 is in line with the winning time...
