The guy running to be on camera is still winning after 11 minutes!
The interloper has fallen back!
Kinda funny to do that, kinda annoying.
well, they haven't shown the women in at least 25 min....
Official feed in USA:
This is local Boston and has Toni Reavis. It was supposed to be blacked out outside of New England. Let me know if it works.

Best race for Hall since the US Olympic trials. In the Olympics he was pretty much gone already by this point.
Holy cow, every single year this happens. I get enthusiastic about being able to watch the race online and then they f it up. American woman leading the race and whoops we lost the feed. Sure the audience is small but you wonder why running isn't more popular?
Overhead view shows 23 men in the lead pack.

any idea what the women are doing?
the cbs link works, though baa link is better
Maybe we need the Tour de France crews here; they do a great job even through the mountains.
Thank you baa for not letting universal sports ruin this for all us running fans. Great to have the baa live broadcast.
Doesn't work.

Why would Reavis be on the feed that only New England can watch? Pretty dumb.

kim smith tried this 2011...remember what happen?
In fairness, Kim got injured so we might not expect quite the same result.
But Kim wasn't going quite as fast either, even if the tail wind was stronger that day.
Here are her 5k splits from 2011:
5 16:41
10 33:29
15 50:09
20 1:07:11
Half 1:10:52
25 1:24:15
Shalane just ran.
5 16:10
10 32:34
I don't see this ending well.
So the women's race not worth showing now?

From RW:
The women are through mile 8 with Flanagan still leading - elapsed time 42:03 with a 5:20 mile split.
Meb at 5K in 15:09 - 2:07:48 pace
What singlet is Kimetto wearing? Hard to tell who is who on a pixilized feed
Sweet. Everyone should be in it at that pace.Shalane's effort is much more worrying.

The BAA feed has shown the starting line for 20 minutes
Men slowed down a lot:
Mile 1 - 4:49 - 19 men in lead pack.
Mile 2 - 4:54 (943)
Mile 3 - 4:55 (1438) 8miles. (1509 5k)
On the local broadcast they just showed a graphic that had meb's hometown as being in eritrea. Larry rawson corrected them.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
