Who coaches Jeptoo?
This is going to be a heck of a finish. The chasers are clearly going to be running faster than Meb but he has a huge lead to hold onto.

What is wrong with you people? This marathon is not set up? Go back and read the predictions. Maybe not the quality of London but this isn't a weak field. Who would rather see win? Rupp? Mo? Hall?
Not sure what your point is. You are right that this isn't a weak field. And there is absolutely no way that this field lets Meb go in the first 10 miles at a 2:08 pace.
Yes, the race is very obviously fixed.
Dr. Rosa mixes excellent cocktails for his trainees, eh?
Even if Shalane had run the most efficient race, I highly doubt she could have covered Jeptoo's move
Great job, Shalane!

We are oging to miss a great men's race as they don't start the races far enough apart:
Meb is still 52 seconds up with just 7k left.

Is Hall still in it?
Desisa WAY out the back.
They don't give a flag to jeptoo. If shalane gets the usa flag that would be a real bitch move by the officials
4:48 for mile 22 for Meb.
At 23 miles, he has a 21 second lead. it's gonna be hard for himk to do it. As he had 50+ seconds at 35km.
Shalane 2:22:0x hangs on

Nope, race is fixed. Unless you think that the finish of fixed races is exciting.

A 38-year-old is going to win the Boston Marathon?
Meb is going to get caught
Mebs last 5k will be 15:20ish. The field will still win with a 14:30, which is very doable
Now someone said 40 seconds. If it's 40 seconds. He can do it. Now they are saying 20 seconds. again. dAMN.
Chebet is coming.
23rd mile for MEb was 4:56.
Meb is gritting his teeth. This is going to be EPIC.
2:22:01 for Shalane. PR by over 3 minutes.
i dont think its going to happen for meb, he needs more than 20 secs. chaser in sight hes done
Meb's lead down to 25 seconds and he appears to be struggling a bit.
