Wow, that was disappointing.

This is Geb's biggest effup ever. Too fast, then too slow, then done at halfway to goal.
did Jeptoo drop out or just get dropped? Also, Dibaba dropped her bottle, losing precious seconds to the Kiplagats.
Tirunesh is gunna have to work to catch that back up.
This i posted yesterday;
Maybe I am paranoid but the setup with 2 groups is in big favour of Mo.
I mean there might be a raceplan like "let the front blowup". this paranoide is fed by the fact of the last 3 year results. comparing 21k spli vs finishing time.

This say: go out faster them 1:02 you will run 2:06.
So (i know i smoke tio much weed) i think they are blowing up the front on purpose.

She must have dropped out. She's not listed as having passed 30k.
Kebede looking really comfortable right behind the remaining pacer.
Mo looking a bit labored but it could be his new form or he could be starting to grind for the lead group, I don't know.
Anyone know Coolsaet 15k? God, the Canadian Record is 39yrs old now.
I agree. Didn't Renato Canavo talk about the importance of even pacing toward fostering/suiting the fastest Kenyans who have had great training this year? and then, guess what happens...

Dibaba is fine. She isn't finished yet
No she's done. I think her dropping the bottle in hindsight was an indicaiton she was tiring. She dropped it at 1:38:42 and is now miles behind.

the whole "sophisticated" pacemaker program blew up in their face big time.
a worse start could not have been delivered by a first time pacer on serious drugs.
in effect, there were no pace makers in this race, only race spoilers.
what a train wreck this is for the top group. but then again, maybe the lesson to be learned, run your own damn race.
then again, moe is sitting in there with perfect pacing, running chicken shit, as prefontaine used to say, however this is the way you have to run a marathon, up until 30+ K to optimize on the result.
OMG Mo is swimming
Mo and Tsegay through 20k in 59:55, 40 seconds back
farah's 40 seconds back
Announcers slightly angry at the two pacemakers just out of comfortable reach of Mo Farah, running by themselves
Mo is not doing chicken shit, he is looking like DNF at 35.
