Really hope some one will survive in front
The announcers are casting it as if Haile G. is just not suited for pacemaking fidelity but rather "running as he feels..." hmmm
The announcers seemed to imply that one of those pacemakers who dropped off dropped off too early... any chance the pace might be so hot that even Haile G. falls apart short of his duties?
why is it that moe in his first marathon has the good pacing, while the most experienced runners on the planet go forth with an absolute suicidal variation in pace?
if haile is strapped for cash, then you gotta be askin him some serious questions.
Mo needs to wake the fk up NOW.

2nd Pace dropped, Chepkurui pacing just 4 women (Jeptoo, Edna, Florence, Dibaba)

The Winner will run a WR, no doubt. Mo will be at least a couple minutes behind.
Dubious.
Dibaba's stride not as smooth as on the track. Trouble?
Sorry I put last year's. But the splits mile 3,4,5 are this year.
Here is women at halfway

Anyone think the London organizers actually paid Geb to take the pace out faster than what was prescribed/asked for (4:36 first mile)? I wonder if the fix is in and Geb is gonna burn the front runners early, paving the way for a Mo victory.
Tsegay and Kiprotich aren't following the script, then, as they're somewhere between the lead group and Mo's/Jeilan's group. (But no, there is no fix. Sorry but that's crazy talk.)
Mo didn't loose any ground last 5k(mens leaders are now 2:04 pace)

Great questions.
Pace stayed slowed right down for the last 5k: 14:55
Of all the runners in the lead pack I think that G Mutai would be most able to absorb the fast early pace and come hard again after 30k.
Kiprotich, Mo and Tsegay running together now
So the leaders have gone 1421-1450-1455
Mo Farah has gone 1448-1508-1454. He's now running faster than them. He couldn' thave scripted it better. That first 5k WAS AWFUL for the elite broup. REALLY BAD.

Was Geb gone in that last clip, or just not in view?
I was thinking the same thing
Will Mo get credit if he wins this or will everyone blame the stupid tactics of the lead group?
