FACT: Your Florida team might never run a faster time for the 4x400, this year or ever. Months left in a season and no seniors means nothing.

There is no fact here at all. It's 100% speculation. I stated only facts. Take care.
Think about what this team could do if pushed by aTm. It remains to be seen if Arman Hall can replicate that superhuman anchor though.
They were pushed whol way. Won in last stride.

Had traffic. Second leg actually bumped ans stumbled in last 80 meters.

The 'fake' post is one with zero information content and purely pedantic. If you are going to be pedantic, at least have some content to your post. It is one of the things that consistently detracts from this board. That a consistent poster who knows about the sport does it shows how little he cares about others on this board. For someone that is probably in his 50s he should just grow up.
Throw in a few more consistents and pedantics and run-on sentences and you may have something.
Hmmm, it seems you are the one speculating. Your dream: Florida #1 all in the next two months. Sub 2:57 before they are done with school.

Superhuman efforts are usually one-time deals.
Take a look at the all-time list for 4x400 and the split times for college teams. Look at the names and when the times were run. It's full of "who?" names running split times never to be repeated again.
Haters gonna hate!

Who knows what will occur in the future however Arman Hall is not a "who?".

Never heard of Hall. His PRs, 400m splits, are not as impressive as Josh Mance at the same age (20). Mance (now 21) split 43.7 split at the 2012 Olympics, and has an Olympic Silver and a WC Gold medals.

Then you clearly don't follow HS or collegiate T&F.

I clearly do. You are obviously obsessed with what happens in Florida HS and college track.
Knowing who an obscure UofFlorida runner is not a requirement or knowing HS and college T&F. I do know about the exemplary exploits of FSU runner Josh Mance.
I also know about Houston McTear and the Floridian's infamous hand-timed 9.0 for 100y. McTear's PRs were 9.30 for 100y and 10.13 for 100m. The 9.0 was rounded up from two 8.9s and a 9.0. The Florida hand-timers were a bit slow to start their timers. Houston McTear is one of the best short-distance sprinters ever, but the 9.0 was not a real time.
Can you, Realism, tell us what became of Houston McTear? It's a quite a sad story.
Arman Hall was a World Youth Champion and World Junior silver medalist (along with gold in the 4x100 and 4x400).He also has a 4x400 World Championship gold. Hardly "an obsure UofFlorida runner"
So, you don't know what happened to Houston McTear.
1/10
Current FSU runner Josh Mance has an Olympic Silver Medal. He split 43.7 in the 2012 Olympic 4x400 final.
Anyway, it is nice that you know how to use Google to look something up about a runner you knew little about beforehand.

That's no one else's issue other than your own.

I'm not Realism. Anyone who pays a little attention to the sport knows who Arman Hall is. World Junior Silver Medalist is a big deal. You said he was an obscure runner. You're wrong. Also 5/10 for 2 replies from me. Have a nice day.
Where did I say your are Realism?

No, the issue is your entirely personal problem.
You also don't know what became of Houston McTear. You're not as much of a fan of T&F as you think you are.
Wow!! Just wow. Arman Hall, who ran at the world championships and has been one of the top 400m runners in the NCAA, is an "obscure" runner... I guess if you only pay attention distance running. Because if followed the NCAA or World Campionships last year you wouldn't make such a silly comment.
Why accuse me of being the one "speculating" and then go on to fill your post with ONLY speculation. I stated 1) Florida ran the #2 time ever (faster than UCLA) 2) Florida ran .14 seconds off of the all-time record 3) Florida ran no Seniors on their relay and 4) It's early in the season. Those are facts. Nothing you have said is factual in any way. Now, you may say that my thinking they have a chance at the all-time record is speculation. But it's no more speculative then anyone foolishly claiming they will never run near that fast again. We know they CAN run at least 2:59.73 because they've already done it.As for the "superhuman" effort theory... We'll see. Arman Hall isn't even half way done with his available collegiate eligibility. So it's not unreasonable to "speculate" that he may very well perform even better down the road. Also, I wouldn't categorize the other three legs as "superhuman" performances. So who says Hall would have to run 43.9 again for Florida to put up another sub-3:00 effort?
