anyone have a working feed?
The LR link seems to be working just fine. They are showing previews and pre race show right now. Follow the link on the front page.

She wasn't the only one.
4:44, 4:52, 4:57 through 3 miles with a wind in the face
for the second mile.
Grunewald dropped, then Hasay dropped, Brenda 1st American.
Brenda needs more mileage if she's serious about 5k

She is the World Championships bronze medalist at 800m and is moving up to the 1500m. She's a very good 5000m runner for those credentials.

this is hasay's first actual competitive road race
but brenda martinez is gonna smash them
my predictions (for just those 3)
martinez 15:22
hasay 15:41
grunewald 15:50 (falls or something)
These were my predictions from a few days ago. Not bad, right?
actual results:
martinez 15:25
hasay 15:41
grunewald 16:0x
i'll admit that i wasn't expecting there to be so many more runners up with them, but i didn't really check out the heat sheets.

6th fastest in the world about 1.2 seconds slower than 1st
off of very hard training and living at 7000 feet ( 800 m )
1500 best about 14 seconds slower than drugged records?
Will the 5k hard racing give her strength at 1500?
Vigil was an expert in moving Deena's threshold over time.
So, will the training change?
Bleasdale trained at 8800 feet in Ethiopia:
"My time in Ethiopia is spent building a strong base, with more than 100 miles every week. "Easy" days consist of 11 miles in the morning and five in the evening, with stretching and exercises in the gym. Workout days may consist of a tempo run, track session or hill repetitions, again with gym work and an evening run to flush the soreness out of the legs. Sunday runs are my favourite: 18 miles traversing far into the Ethiopian landscape, without a shortcut, fuel or water en route. Some may think me crazy – and I would not entirely recommend it to many others."
And you could see the difference in fitness from the strong
aerobic base between her and Brenda.
Bleasdale - 5,000m-10,000m runner
Martinez - 800m-1500m runner
I realize you are just a troll but they should not be doing the same training.
Typical frickin Americans - all about BMart, Hasay and GG - completely ignoring the woman who destroys them all (Bleasdale).
BMart doesn't need the base of a Bleasdale (5k/10k runner - eventually Marathon). BMart will move to 1500m and try and double her 800m time (2x800=1500) to run 3.56. She may have company from Cain in the next couple of years, and with G.Dibaba and Aregawi involved a medal is by no means guaranteed, so will have to decide (like last year) if the 800m is the easier route, which it may well be at present because the event (other than Savinova) is so inconsistent at that level at the moment.

Nothing you said in any way counters fred's suggestion.
Just figured you should know.
that's the first time Hasay has smile in months.
