The list of things presented was NOT comparable to daycare. True. They were also NOT presented as such. The point is that your "LOGIC" is precisely the same as the logic that justifies pretty much anything. That is, it is COMPLETELY illogical.

No...you are comparing adapting to slavery to adapting to being put in daycare as a 13 month old.
To use your logic, people also adapt to a paper cut or living in a new city or going to a new school or working at a new job...all common things that might have a brief period of stress but that are things we as humans can cope with. It is a rare child who is actually traumatized by day care.
Again, I believe if you can swing it that it's better to NOT put your child in day care (I consider day care to be prior to age 3 or 4...within 2 yeas of kindergarten, it is preschool), but your linkage of day care to slavery, etc. was WAY too much, brother.
