Semmed on the edge of superstardom at one point. What happened to him? What's he doing now? Any good stories?

Paul Geis, CPA, MBA (Stanford) did very well when Nike went public (1980?). Still lives in Beaverton, as I've been told by a reliable source recently.
Paul lived across the street from me in a condo complex in Portland in '97 / '98. He was working for Nike at the time, but no longer does. By the way, I'm not sure what 'satrdom' is but he did run in the '76 Olympic 5K final.
hi skoolr
guy ran about 13:20 and 28:06, didn't he?
i think he may have retired secondary to anemia(?) around 1980.
saw him run an 8km road race in eugene after he turned 40 and he ran close to 24 minutes.
Paul still lives in Portland, OR...retired a while back. Note that Paul was the top US runner at the Montreal Olympics 5000m.
