Any pictures/ video on race? For triathlon be so expensive you would think they have a flotrack/ letsrun that covers this stuff.

Why are the linked results so different from what you've reported? Am I missing something?
That's weird. It's changed since WebbFan posted. They currently have Webb with the splits Lukas had previously and they have the same splits for Lukas and Summer Cook. In fact Lukas and Cook are both shown as having done the first leg. Clearly the results are screwed up now and may or may not have been correct previously.
gomez can certainly be about 30-45s back of brownlee, but he can't run 29:16 off the bike, and we all know it. neither can brownlee. the absolute best anyone could hope to put out would be around 29:30 (perfect, perfect day) to 29:45, and this would have to be sitting in for the final 5k of the bike, etc.
now, on a 9825m course? sure, it's doable. 9700m course? even easier. but anything under 29:30 is pretty much pure and simple bull$#itis. for those of you who aren't hip on how the conversions work in tri, the gold standard is running exactly 1min slower off the bike than your open 10K pb. a very select few guys int he world will be able to slice this down to around 45s differential, but in over 20yrs I've not seen anyone get closer than that. #Fact
Let's stop the speculation.
This was a weird distance. It was a relay format. He fell on the bike leg...
When is his first real triathlon (semi Olympic or Olympic distance)?
Yeahh I don't know what has happened to the results since I posted this. What I have posted is what the times were when I initially found the results.
