Only Farah keeps winning. The rest either lose or win against weak competition.
examples?
He turned Farah into the most dominant distance runner on the track
Rupp, who had a down year last year that still saw him get 4th at the world championships, has had the textbook definition of an intelligently coached progression throughout his entire career and is in the midst of his best indoor campaign to date
Ritz has PRed in the 5000,10,000, and marathon and become the 3rd fastest US performer in history
Centro won a silver
Levins, idiotically claimed to be Rupps training partner, has run big PRs
Mary Cain is early in her career but thus far seems to be following the Rupp model
He is not the perfect coach for everyone but I don't think anyone in his current camp has reason to complain...
His antics at the world championships, however, were embarrassing and if I were his athlete I would make it clear that I would not want my image associated with such behavior in the future (however Salazar is in one of those rare situations where the coach is a bigger name than the athlete)
