Best I can do is crop from the dude who finished in front of him

I wonder if he noticed Kip out there. I hear he finished in 2:57.
I paced him, the port-o-johns were a little small for 2 though...
I hope most of those photos were taken near the end of the race, wejo looks like garbage in most of them.

Links to marathonfoto don't work. You need session cookies. Always hated that.
He definitely had a watch on. Looks pretty good for a guy his age in the marathonfoto pics!
Thought he said he was going to take splits but not pay attention to them. I'm sure he and JK have been going over the data.
What age group would that be? Or what is his age?
1:30:28 / 1:28:25Did he change shoes mid-run?

Nice negative split!
1:30:28 at the half.
2:58? If he's an anonymous LetsRun poster that becomes a 2:18.

He's 40, which is just the right age for a comeback now that he's a master.
Two questions I have are what shoes is he wearing and why is he not wearing the LetsRun singlet?

Thank you, that's a respectable time for 40. One of my goals was to run sub-3. Came close several times, have a 3:02 at 45, 3:03 at 49 and a best 3:01:03 at 50. Bad weather cost me dearly on the last 2 (big head winds at the end both times, same course). Now I'm 55 and had to take a whole year off a few years back so I think that goal will never be realized. But I haven't ruled it completely out yet.
Thanks again
Two questions:
Did he look relaxed?
Did he do it in trainers?
Was it indoors and what was his post race workout?
Bump, tired of all the AlSal threads.
Employee 1.1. Are you still running a marathon soon? Will you beat 2:58?
Wejo should write a book on his training. Break three hours without measuring your training pace.

Whitlock's got the market cornered on that methodology. (2:54 at age 73)

HardLoper and Jamin didn't think so.
