umm...ever heard of Jordan Hasay?

ah yes...the old timers. Now the funny thing is that the real old timers who knew Pre pretty well had very mixed views about him. Now of course that Pre is "the legend" you couldn't say a bad word about him anymore. Fact got replaced by fiction.

Leer isn't fit to carry Pre's jock. He's a joke.
The fact that he had no problem taking Nike's $$ makes him a hypocrite. If he really believe what he's shoveling he'd terminate his contract and run Worlds unsponsored. But something tells me he will cash his check.
Hey, maybe you need some listening comprehension work, but he never mentioned Nike. He specifically mention the USATF, which is virtually unavoidable for a runner trying to accomplish HIS ultimate dream.
You guys are the epitome of kicking the hand that feeds you. NIKE is obviously great for the sport of track and field, which would be withering without its visionary contributions. Pre is dead. If he was alive he would probably be working for Nike, which would be good for both Pre and Nike.
(And most of the time I don't even run in Nikes and haven't for most of my career, which has lasted, for what its worth, for sixty years).

I think the word you're looking for is 'biting'

Career in what?

So awesome to see what he said tonight.
As an old-timer, I find it more than a little ironic that I now view Leer, well at least when he had the mustache and not the beard, to represent the new Pre. Pre was known for fighting the corruption and farce that was the AAU.
It's pretty stange that the corrupt entity now is now known as Nike I mean USATF (aren't they won and the same?).
I also commend Leer for speaking up while still a Nike athlete. He didn't name Nike but so many others like Fleshman/Symmonds stay quiet until off the Swoosh's payroll.

Pre would have got in the face of the other runner after the race if they did to him what Gabe did to Hasay. Leer is nothing but a wannabe thug.

Forget all that. How 'bout that beard!?!? All hail King Leer!
You may well be right here and if so it's a problem that should be addressed. The hand that feeds you probably controls you, and yeah, "biting" is the word you wanted, not "licking."
A Nike athlete? Really? Leer wears the kit but come on, I don't really think he was putting much on the line by getting people to look at him and talk about him for whining on national tv.
I hope the climate control sytem in the Poland facilities are working properly and that Will doesn't stub his toe before his race.
Yeah, Leer will never medal at the Olympics, just like Pre.
Those bun huggers walking off the track were just lining themselves up for Will after his race....
Well, Pre' s biggest race was a fourth place finish. Otherwise, they are not alike as runners.
Leer seems like a nice guy - I don't think this statement makes him a hero.
Leer needs to tie his beard before he races. He seems to know tying his hair reduces wind resistance, but you gotta tie all of it.
How is he 'officially' the new Pre?
