Whether or not either is "pointing for this" or not, you get 2 great competitors like this together throwing it down, with another 6-8 guys with sub-28:00 10,000 and/or sub 62:00 half range, and sparks will fly .. Sure, some may use it as a tune up or rust buster, but I would argue winning a road national title against a field like this would be quite a career enhancer .. Equal to or greater perhaps to a nice showing at Mt Sac .. As an earlier poster referenced ....
ah yes, I disagree with you, therefore I shall not be your friend! brilliant logic, albeit retarded. here's a novel concept, try the small chevron on the upper right hand corner of each facebook post, click the "unsubscribe" feature and then you don't have to see fannin's "controversial" postings. i truly apologize that his common sense (i know, a modern oxymoron) postings offended your logical sensibilities.

Good day sir and I do appreciate the most helpful feedback.
looks like a great race. Both are tough racers and will give no quarter. Derrick's race sharpened from xc in Europe and USA nationals, and then his best times from 3k to 10k project better for 15k than True's, although the latter's not gotten into fast races at 5k/10k yet to boost his pr's.

The statement, "I disagree with you, therefore I shall not be your friend!" shows an individual's preference in friends as well as something of their methods of retaining friends (or not). There is absolutely nothing illogical about it.
Logic is CLEARLY not your language.
I wonder why Sam Chelanga isn't running. I would install him as the favorite despite my Derrick fanboy feelings
Gate is American only - otherwise Chelanga might be here .. Would be a tough call ...
How bout women ? Can Shalane be beaten ? 2-3-4 ? Bawcom ? Hastings ? Van Alstine ? Alisha Williams ? Kellyn Taylor ? Alexi Pappas ?

Should be a great race, just like always! T-Will's CR/AR might be in jeopardy as the weather looks to be pretty nice.
Looking forward to 1904 afterwards!
Why should we talk about this race when we can have a poll to see who is the most doped?

Who is the most doped in this race?
I think Derrick will take it. Will there be live coverage of this? Maybe a thread that updates with splits?
Runnerspace doing live updates and tweets and tape-delayed film ..
