So Mo can't move up to the Marathon and then move back to the 10K--or shorter--and have success?
Because Galen didn't run a great half-athon in NYC on March 20, 2011? He ran 1:00:30 that includes a fall. Minus the fall he'd have gone under 60:00. And then he ran an AR in the 10K 26:48.00 on September 16, 2011 at Belgacom Memorial Van Damme. That was just shy of 6 months later.
Don't forget that he won the silver in the 2012 Olympic 10K and has 3 new ARs for indoor since then in the 3000, 2 mile, and 5000 AFTER moving up to the half-athon the previous year.
Also, don't forget that Galen and Mo have the same coach.
