Yeah why do they continue to do this? Junior indoor nationals is at the fantastic ETSU indoor facility in Tennessee. Why couldn't the senior nationals be there too (closer to civilization and not at altitude and at a much better facility)?
This facility is great. I always wondered why they don't hold more big meets there. Here's a picture:http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/68/ETSU.jpg
That track sucks. It's too hard and the surface must be 100 years old. Plus the air in there is dusty.
They should have it in Geneva Ohio where they hold NAIA nationals. Brand new 300 meter track, endless facilities.http://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&docid=MLhN8FUYUOR5tM&tbnid=oTY4JPvN2cW6GM:&ved=0CAUQjRw&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.spireinstitute.org%2Ftraining%2Ftrack-and-field&ei=h48HU7zBMuX02gX9p4GQCw&bvm=bv.61725948,d.b2I&psig=AFQjCNHGCdnmgrLbpEaP37k7l248gFOvvg&ust=1393090798050393http://www.spireinstitute.org/training/track-and-field
