What's the most amount of people you want to have in a non-rabbitted indoor mile? 10? 12?
IF USATF wants to have a straight final, then why don't they just do what the NCAA does nowadays for qualifying for indoors - get rid of qualifying times and just take the first ** competitors., "After the 3k, we're going to take the top ** times."
