is this race up online yet? so pissed i missed it.
great interview letsrun did with hill after the race. he says he lives with chris derrick, jager, and fernandez. when you think about those guys training together, it's really not that surprising that they'd be in amazing shape.
hill sounds like a smart dude too - hope to see him continue performing well.
Here is the video of the race: http://www.usatf.tv/gprofile.php?mgroup_id=45365&do=videos&video_id=104091

Guy quietly ripped a 3:59 mile at 5,000ft a couple weeks back. That's not as impressive as chasing two E. Africans home in 7:35, but was a solid indicator of beast-mode capability.
Give us some credit. We noticed the 3:59.00 was special and wrote: "Could Hill actually challenge Rupp at USAs in a few months?"

In this thread: desperate fanboys who seem to think 7:35 would put this loser anywhere near Rupp...who basically ran 2 miles at Hill's pace. Keep grasping loosers.
Hill looks to be improving (omg is he doping????) but he wouldn't even be in the picture when Rupp crosses the line.
He was a step or 2 behind 2 guys who have run 12:4X. The last time Rupp took on the GebreJet indoors, he didn't even need the afterburners to get the win. All it took was cruising speed.
The Hill just ran 7-34 and nearly Gebremet up with one of them at the line. I'm going to Gebrebet it's going to be a good summer for Hill as long as he can Gebreget his peak right.

And Rupp is probably in 12:4X shape at this point as well.

Only if he times his dopping right

Just because Rupp can gebrenet himself a couple AR's does not mean Hill will not make Rupp gebresweat if the race is right. Don't gebrefret. You can gebrebet he will gebreset himself up to be a gebrethreat in Rio 2016 for the 5k. Look for 2016 it might be his best year gebreyet.

Setting aside Rupp's injury and granting your post has some merit, I'm fairly confused. According to the standard LetsRun narrative, Rupp is on drugs of various kinds, ranging from the gray area (whatever that means) to the distinctly shady, but there's no problem imagining Hill beating him--and no one would ever think Hill or Jager et cetera is doping. Interesting.[quote]
You are correct that it is unfair to single out Rupp (and Salazar's athletes more generally).
But I can state for a fact that you are wrong to claim that no one would think that Hill or Jager is doping. Any sensible and objective person suspects everybody and does not give a pass because someone is American and we like him.
Hill and Jager are coached by the same individual who coached Solinsky to his 26:59. And there has been plenty of skepticism voiced about that.
