Get the stick out of your a$$. It's college.
I knew plenty of D1 national qualifiers - myself included - that knew how to throw down in college.
1999 XC Champs were on a Monday, so my teammate and I hit the town in Bloomington on Saturday night for a fun evening. I still acquitted myself quite well on race day. I was third in Region and I think 4th Region finisher that day, about 15 seconds from All-American.
I went to Penn and believe me, we saw all kinds of All-Americans and National Champs at the parties on Saturday night after Penn Relays.
Of course, its fair to say that the level of achievement nationwide pales to what it is now, but believe me, that Bud Light in your hand is not the reason you didn't beat Cheserek.

So I'm guessing BYU."
BYU is already constantly made fun of for doing nothing.
0/10
My word you're slow -
I thought this was settled. Here at BYU.

WPI div 3 in Worcester. We didn't even need girls we used to go down on each other all the time. We had one party where we passed around all the freshmen guys like it was going out of style.

I think to accurately answer this question we need to define what constitutes "partying hard." Is it the frequency of partying/drinking? The amount (volume) of drinking? The crazy things done while drinking/partying? The amount of hookups as a result of partying? The percentage of team members involved in the partying? Etc...
Some people may think their teams partied hard, but have no idea what other teams did in comparison. Let's lay out some concrete criteria and then continue the discussion. -
jesus f**king christ you guys are such losers. anyone who says "the slow ones" was probably a nerd who had no fun in college, wasn't cool in high school, or has never actually been on a college xc team. i got to a pac 12 D1 school and we throw the f**k down on a pretty regular basis, and know for a fact that other teams in our conference do too. i can only imagine that SEC and Big 12 schools aren't too different.
