I want to look but I'm afraid it might not be safe for work. Can someone confirm?
The first link is safe, it's sports illustrated for crying out loud. I'd avoid the 2nd one until you are home, although there are no nsfw pics.
Thanks. Sounds pretty fun. It will probably be a sausage factory though
Sunday, while perusing the Barnes and Noble newsstand, I saw a new magazine. Mud and Obstacle. I was saddened.
Sounds like the dumbest thing ever.
Is it X rated because there will be intercourse in the course.
Just a big gimmick but they'll probably make a lot of money.
I'm not going to click the link here at work, but I am curious about how much the entrance fee is. We have a lot of these zombie runs, vampire races, hobbit chases, etc. cropping up around here, and the prices are like $100 to enter!!!

Does that include a happy ending?
No sex or nudity allowed. The only thing even remotely X-rated about the race are the names they give to the obstacles.
From the event's site: "where fitness is not a factor, but fun definitely is!"

Lemme guess:
DP straightaway - a point where other runners come at you from both ends?
Cunnilingus valley - where you stick out your tongue as you run along the edge of some valley?
Anal finish - a part of the race where you finish it all off by going in some backdoor?
Will there be sex at the event?
"NO! People who exhibit overtly sexual behavior will be evicted from the event."
Can I run naked?
"Nudity will NOT be allowed at the event."
So let me get this straight, an X-rated porn themed race where there will be no sex or even nudity. Riiiiight.
Oh wait, a woman came up with the idea for this. Figures. Ooooh look how sexy I am...DON'T TOUCH ME!!!!
According to the SI article, spectator fees will be $25. Really? You have to pay to watch a mudrun?
I have no problem with the mudruns and all the other things because it gets people off of the couch and gets them to exercise, even if it is just a little bit but paying to watch? No thank you.

And there will be no nudity or inappropriate behavior allowed.
Ooooh sound super sexy. Let me spend $25 to watch that.
From the FAQ:
Will there be sex at the event?
NO! This event is for fun and although it's adult themed, there is no sex at the event. This is not a "pick up" place either. People who exhibit overtly sexual behavior, or make unwanted sexual advances will be evicted from the event.
So not really X-rated. Just some tacky marketing.
I'm out
