Raptured, where do you live? We don't know each other's 10M ability, this could be good.
Salt Lake City. If you're ever out here, let me know and I'll figure out a nice ridiculous 10-ish mile course. :)

Oops. I was trolling under another name. :)

Ok we need to know:
1. Each of your PRs
2. How nerdy/weird/normal the other runners were- seems like a nice random sample of the Letsrun population.
I've run 15:40 but would have been lucky to run 16:20 if yesterday had been a track 5000.
I am weird/nerdy; the others seemed normal.
I'm not sure if there was anything special the others could have noted about me. Except maybe when I was stretching they say I had a small dong.

portlanders don't run with people. there will be plans made, but everyone (except the OP) will have an excuse and back out at the last minute. was told upon arrival to portland several years ago, "welcome to portland; everyone runs, no one wants to run with you."
UPDATE:
There were 17 people running together at this morning's weekly Sunday SBUX run. Didn't see "tibialis posterior" show up though. Apparently, just another LR troll that spews nonsense and doesn't follow through when called on it. ;-)

Another reason NOT to stretch, a few warmup strides will do.

nice try troll, but i never stretch.
i'm in the same boat as OP. PR 15:46 but probably couldn't run faster than 16:10 if we tried yesterday.
and everybody seemed fairly normal. one high schooler showed up to watch (he ran an hour to get there, props to him for that) and another guy came on a bike, he posted the pictures.

If the Sac race falls thru or if you feel like doubling up on races tomorrow, then I will race you, LetsRace.com.
I live in Martinez, about 15 miles east of San Francisco (or 60 miles west of Sacramento). There's a loop on the Martinez Shoreline which would make a perfect 6K course (2 loops).
http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/336517203I live in Martinez also. This course would be perfect for a race. I thought I was the only one from Martinez who posted here.
Yeah it's a fast course if you don't gave to dodge geese. I moved to MTZ a few years ago and recently started running semi-seriously after taking about 10 years off. I have been using LRC to figure out the latest trends. Seems like high mileage is all the rage again. And minimal footwear I guess.
