Do you really think they are going to turn over the ND program to a kid with holding a stop watch experience?

As a fan of the Bradley Braves, I am hoping Matt is given serious consideration for the job and if he doesn't get it, it should be because they hired someone with an excellent background. It would be nice if Matt stayed if they hire someone else, just to maintain some stability. I would suspect that if Matt isn't hired and/or stay as an assistant, there will be a few transfers.

Oh, I thought you meant you had some knowledge. I don't believe that to be 100% true
wasn't Matt let go during the season at one of those low paying assistant jobs?

Marc Davis from Yale to Troy
Good bet for Illinois State
good call...Turner stays.
If your referring to Ross Richardson going to Illinois state I'm not so sure. He is from Illinois but I don't think he settle for a mid major after coaching at some pretty big time places. He would be taking a significant pay cut from his previous jobs from what Ive heard the throws coaches there made in the past.
Illinois state what? wrote:

He was let go at Ohio State. Agreed, Illinois State is a step below, but he is currently unemployed so a "significant pay cut" and settling "for a mid major" aren't looking so bad.
If Ross does land a job this summer it will be the 5th job in 6 years. If he's married I'm sure his wife is getting tired of moving!
He was let go because the head coach left, not because of performance reasons. And he has moved around a lot, 4 jobs in 10 years is a little more accurate. I'm guessing he holds off for something a little more lucrative that Illinois state

I've seen his results for many years. He's a good coach. Unfortunately, he never stays in one place long enough (sometimes his choice and sometimes just bad timing with coaching changes) to really show what he's truly capable of building.

You're going to throw out some serious accusations on "if my memory serves me correctly"? Stick to jobs and leave slander off the thread.
Did we ever figure out who was replacing Bockman at Utah?

That's a negative.
The Utah job seems to be taking forever. Has someone turned it down and they are back to the drawing boards? With two male coaches on staff my guess is they are trying to find a woman?
