did you do it again? lol you just argued that one wouldnt be hired from hs. After its been pointed out to you probably 20 times, that that's not the argument. The argument is are they qualified. Which, they are.

Jason...is that you? If it is, then the information may be correct? That would be an interesting position, but it puts him in Colorado and that could possibly lead to a couple of other things...

Either prove a hs coach cant be qualified, or apologize and wallow in shame.

Please go to it and discuss the actual topic and stay on this one if you want to argue about silly pointless topics like who is a good coach, bad coach, and why a HS coach can not be a head college coach in a major SEC program! Please go to the new thread!

The Idaho head coaching job should get filled by the end of this week, or early next week. Once this gets settled,the dominoes will fall.

Utah is looking for a full time women's assistant coach for cross country/track and field.

I didn't know about the Utah women's assistant coaching position open. I did know that Southern Utah is looking for a an assistant distance coach/ Recruiting Coordinator.

Should Stanford just shutdown the program? It's amazing how no one wants to stay there. Is it simply too expensive for assistants to get by and thus the head doesn't want to have deal with hiring a new staff every other year?

That can't be the reason. The school I attended went through 5 assistant coaches for guys' distance and 4 for girls' distance just in the 4 years I was there, and the head coach wasn't concerned about it.

The Washington State staff should be announced soon. I know there were interviews in mid July. And the rumor in Pullman is that a new coaching staff would be named sometime around US Nationals. It should be interesting to see who the staff at WSU will be. They need an excellent staff there, because Pullman is a very very difficult place to win at.

Greg Jack over John Smith?? thats hilarious, they arent even in the same atmosphere. If you want a recruiting coordinator only, then let Jack do that. John Smith is a better coach by miles and miles.

Word on the street is that WSU assistants will be filled early next week. And Michigan is interviewing as we speak.

WSU has finalized 5 of the 6 positions. Nothing major happening there.

The whole staff from Idaho plus one WSU assistant plus a former Idaho coach.

Well, WSU will be looking for another Head Coach in a couple years. WSU just became University of Idaho with a little more money.
