Who is flying in?
Who is flying in?
I believe there will be one flight originating from the Bay Area
Surely not miltenberg? Maybe someone from Berkeley?
Miltenberg was at Georgetown, maybe he has the right religion for ND.
Veterans of this thread in years past will recall when big schools took most of the summer just to get their searches started.
I would watch the San Jose airport.
I've heard Charlie Kearn's name several times in regards to ND's position. I've also heard a former assistant who went to Fresno State is the "people's choice" candidate.
Milt is not going to Notre Dame.
I figured not Miltenberg. I hope they keep the distance tradition going at Notre Dame, they can be top 10 year in year out but they need a distance coach with a vision.
They're not gonna hire a high school coach to head Notre Dame's program. Get real.

------------------------------------------------------------ The plane will be coming from LAX. Nuff said!
Agreed, a high school assistant distance coach should not get the reins to one of the most historic programs in the NCAA. Too much responsibility, the guy's head would be spinning!! The Fresno guy is an ok pick but does Notre Dame really want to be known as a jumps school?

I heard Milt is one of the 3 who is interested in the job. So the flight may just be for Milt. It's not going to be coming from Fresno.
So if milt is one and presumably turner is another, who else?

Maybe University Park?
Ryan Collins has been promoted to head XC coach at Air Force
who is Ryan Collins? too bad for Air Force...
The jealousy on this thread is sickening. If you don't know who he is then how do you know he can't coach? Air Force hired who they thought was best, no one feels sorry for you because you didn't even get an interview.
i am jealous
Ed Bethea is on Indiana's coaching staff now.
