Also define limited resources. There are a lot of very good coaches out there that go unnoticed because they are limited by program resources such as less than full scholarships, poor budgets, or weak facilities.

Air Force distance job will open up on Monday afternoon. I heard that info in Eugene a few days ago in the coaches area.
Things should get interesting this next week.
Who are the 'hot' assistants that might be up for them big Jobs?
Impossible to list. Those on the east coast only know their own as is the case in the south, Midwest, and west.

Looking at NCAA results, the Georgia multi's/jumps coach looks like he can get it done and has to be the top on any list. 3 total champions, 2 multis and 1 jumper, plus both multis had an additional top 5 placer. That's big points at the NCAA meet.
Of course, the big quandry always is, does a guy like that take over a program for himself and along with it all the headaches and stress? Sometimes it seems like great assistants with some awesome technical knowledge of their events get ruined in a Head or Director position. Sucks that you gotta take one of those positions to get any real money and security for your family.
Rumor has it a long time Director of Track & Field/XC of an Ivy League school will be stepping down by July 1....Anyone heard any rumblings as to why?
