The next coaches at UT WILL BE:
Director - Nathan Taylor
Wow. If this is something other than BS, I will be shocked. While Nathan is both good enough and ruthless enough as a coach to be successful anywhere, I think he really likes Cornell (enough to stay in Ithaca in the face of a huge contract offer from Penn a couple of years ago).
I want to see Erik Jenkins of WKU get a shot at UT.
Congrats to that coach getting both the 4x100 and 4x400 in the final!
Patrick gildea?

Erin Dawson? Yeah, no. I'm transferring.
And noone would care. I don't know who you are, but if your on UT's roster chances are that you are terrible.

And if you are friends with Erin Dawson, then you are a poor judge of coaching ability and character!
Lonnie Greene will not leave Purdue to be an assistant again.

Oh I see. So you're actually not an athlete, but a coach. Who are you one of the other coaches at Ole Miss trying to black ball Erin? Oneal, Vanhoy, one of the others that was let go and just didn't enjoy working with her, or one from her previous school in Ariz. I'm not a big fan of hers but you are pathetic. It takes a lot of balls to get on an anonymous blog and talk about someone else's "character" especially under the guise of a concerced student athlete. Any chance this thread can be deleted, and started over without all the bs?
Any truth to the Taylor rumors i found on the TENN thread?

What about Cornell's Nathan Taylor? Is it true he's been contacted?
He's been more dominant than even Vin Lananna was at Dartmouth and we all know how well Lananna was when he got scholarships.
Taylor's might be the best jumps coach in the country and had multiple national champs in the jumps. They've got killer throwers now (runner-up last night in shot).
With the sprints, well he's qualified teams from the Ivy League in the 4 x 100 and developed the Spanish National record holder in the 200 at 20.47 in Bruno Hortelano.
What else can he do at Cornell? His kids are in college now so nothing is holding him there.
A PERFECT FIT.
U of Hawaii is looking for a distance and throws coach, one being as associate head. I'd guess the associate will make just enough to have a decent standard of living there while the other assistant barely makes enough to survive.

Neither will Kyprianou. His decathletes just scored big points at nationals. A top assistant won't leave a successful program to be an assistant at a lesser program. They would only leave to be in charge, i.e the director position or for huge $$$ which Tenn doesn't seem to have right now.
Money talks my friend
Western Illinois has a head position posted. Anyone know where coach Beauchem has taken off to?

You can add Air Force to the list of schools that will be looking for an assistant coach on Monday. I heard this one in the stands today at the NCAA Meet.
Will Rutgers University be making a change?

I've seen Mulqueen at Several NJ state meets this spring. I was shocked because he rarely leaves the office or campus!
Considering the ass-backwards way he seems to do things, he was probably just checking in on kids that will be on campus in the fall rather than recruiting/scouting juniors for the coming recruiting cycle.
While I am happy that things have been looking up with guys like Crawford and several relays (and a couple of solid incoming throwers), I think that the Scarlet Knights screwed the pooch when they let Coach Kelly get away. They would have been well served making him the head coach.
Rutgers track needs an enema.
its been stagnant there since the 80s.

Mulqueen does a great job with really limited resources. You are way off the mark with him.
