It's obvious WSU doesn't know what they are doing.

The head coach has left
Nothing posted at Michigan:

Are you talking about a specific area?
so does Basista or Banton take over at JCU or are they going to do a national search? Dara was a GA when Coach Banton retired, but he came back on as an assistant. The trend at JCU seems to be internal, but I would like to see what coach they could attract after they finished 2nd at OAC's. Was Coach Ford even a finalist for Otterbein? Hiring a distance coach is very interesting, seems as the distance coaches are out at Otterbein, however she did bring Basista on to be her assistant. Everybody knows Coach Basista is a phenominal coach as he lead Ty Griffin to the national title in 2009 while at Mount Union. And this is a College opening board, not D1... Plus anybody on here has no hope on landing a D1 job.

Says who? Where did you get this? can you post a link? I think this might be straight from your rectum to the message board.
Nope - has not been offered to any of the 3 candidates.
In other news, WSU football just announced their schedule through the 2018 season. Real question. Where's the new track coach?
WV Tech should have a position open, as their coach left for Hooka one one...
small new program up in Maine but full time position at Husson, anyone here anything?
"Chad Pearson Named Track/Cross Country Head Coach, Interim Tag Dropped"
MIZZOU is already assembling a short list of candidates to step in for Joey immediately following the SEC Track Meet next weekend. They will let go of the entire distance staff formally by the end of next week (Joe, Female Assistant and her husband).
I know they won't go with another D2 hire. Likely an older coach with an established reputation from a mid-major program will take precedence. Proven ability to play by the rules, understand the politics of college athletics and won't step on anyone's toes. This is a pretty darn good job considering the athletes who are already there plus the ability to hire a full-time assistant.
***A word to the wise: Whoever takes this job, do a better job than Joe did and hire someone who you trust AND can work alongside. While it's an incredibly over-looked aspect of the profession hiring quality people to surround yourself with is what ultimately makes programs successful. Look around at the top programs in the country (both at the national and conference level). Great coaches hire great assistants...
And how the hell do you know this?
3 distance coaches at UNCG? Perhaps they will add a sprints/ hurdles, jumps and throws coach.

I call Shinanigans on this one...this must be the same guy who posted the Roberts Wesleyan job. Curious people are trolling small Christian Colleges. I would love for you to prove me wrong with a source?
Here you go
http://www.arbor.edu/resources/offices/human-resources/job-postings/director-mw-xctrack-field/and when the Roberts Job opens I would like you to bow to me and kiss my feet and never post on this board again. I am right about both positions being open this year. In fact Roberts Distance coach told me IN PERSON he was leaving at a meet this weekend in Rome, GA. Said school is waiting to announce till after he signs his recruits for this year.
MIZZOU will be letting go of the entire coaching staff soon.
I am filled with self loathing over actually responding to this again. I apologize to all the other posters who actually have something productive to say...
so Coach Y...you admit you ARE the one who posted the Roberts Wesleyan Job and still insist that this job will be opening? I will concede kudos to you on the Spring Arbor position.
Don't get me wrong, I would love for these positions to be open. I just felt burned after contacting the AD at Roberts only to find out that I had been trolled.

Burned by the AD of course hes not going to admit his Coach is leaving especially mid -season. Admitting he is leaving could affect recruiting classes and the stability of the program in its current season. I was an assistant AD at a small school a few years back there is no way I would have answered yes to someone calling about a coach leaving until after the fact.
That being said if Coach Y was right about Spring Arbor why wouldnt he be right about Roberts ? Both are small christian schools seems to me Coach Y probably is a coach in that circle of schools.
I believe when I contacted the AD, he had no knowledge of the possibility of his coach leaving.
I did notice that the spring arbor coach is the former assistant at Roberts, so I would think that maybe he is leaving SAU to return to RWC.
I didnt post about Robert Wesleyan, had no idea
