It wont be hard for WBP to beat CU, Ireland is a program killer! The only person on the staff that is worth a damn is Reuben Jones.

This makes for some interesting story lines at the all-important Mets championships in October. You have to make it to Mets to score at Mets, right?

Anyone else laugh when they read this on the NYU website: "It says so much about athletics at NYU that we could attract a person with Will's experience and pedigree."
Yup, you "attracted" a guy with no head coaching experience, and precious few credentials to a program that has won D3 Nationals recently, and sent Men and Women there last couple of years.
Nice attraction work there, guys.
Will's a good coach! He knows how to recruit without scholarship money, something D3 doesn't have. He's had a stellar career with Columbia. He's great on the administrative side......and he work's his ass off.

"...work's his ass off?"
What does this even mean, Will?
Rumor has it that either Jason Saretsky from Harvard or Phil Olson from Stephen F. Austin got the offer from Army. If it was Saretsky then Harvard wins and Army loses!

Gonzaga assistant coach Rich Nelson makes sense as a hire here. Totally guessing but he is close by, was a very good steeple chaser at BYU and there are some top level steeple prospects at IU.
But seriously-real talk whatever happened to those done deals saying forest Braden to Idaho /done deal? Ummm embarrassing....
Job at Idaho filled by Travis Floeck from Oregon State.
It's not Forest Braden. First he was rumored as the director, told it was a done deal. Then he was rumored as the distance coach...done deal. There was no truth to it. Just shows that just because someone posts with gusto on this message board, doesn't make it true.

Volunteer Coach posted soon at Colgate U.
I agree, it sad to see the numbers of posting for PART-TIME Coaching, these are a joke, why even advertise these positions. to make it worse people are actually taking those jobs. The coaching profession for Track/XC looks cheap.

Gondak will get the PENN ST. Head position, why ruin a good thing with someone new. It's his time.
Regarding Army, Why would Jason leave Harvard, when things are starting to turn around there??

Its like we are in the twilight zone. Inexperienced coaches are gaining full time positions at and alarming rate and experienced coaches with have to take GA, part time jobs or choose to not coach. Most of the hires I've seen have been connection hires. Being able to actually coach means nothing anymore. Just get your level 1 and 2, go to conventions and meet people.
