Excellent hire for Manhattan. Nick knows what he's doing and is going to make that program competitive sooner rather than later.
With that said, guess we need to add NYU as an opening.

I actually coach DivI you moron. I've coached 7 distance/mid-distance athletes to 21 AA honors in 6 yrs between XC/in/out. I did apply for the job and didn't even get a call. What have you done? What has Kent done?
It's who you know!
Sounds like you're better off where you're at. The grass isn't always greener on the other side. Purdue is a dump with bad karma. Not much opportunity for success.
What's the latest on Nebraska throws job?

Yeah - this is interesting. It seems that Coach Lane leaving has been a pretty quiet move. I am not sure why she left or what her plans are but I wish her well. I was told some time ago that Coach Pepin had already made some calls ......no news that I know of other than that.
Any body know what is going on at Air Force and when they will be making their announcement?

Saw Penn State head fill in John Gondak is the distance coach for the U23 Championships.. seems like a good resume booster for the head position. But still think that they would need another coach on staff.
Who got the job? Who were the candidates?

Um.... Try Ashley to Ohio State U - Throws.... She was at WKu past few years... Duh
Any word on Temple? The hire seems to be taking a bit long.
Someone has to know who got offered the Idaho job?
I would assume Air Force and USC (jumps) have made offers too.
I'd imagine only the hiree knows who got the job until they are announced.
