you guys are the idiots. Run the Edge is basically the Goucher retirement plus any speaking that they do. They won't have any problems paying the bills. I'm guessing that one of them ends up being quite a prominent coach somewhere. I'd say they planned just perfectly, if not genius. They know what they are worth, and they probably hired somebody to make sure they stay in check with their spending behavior. Rupp and Mo have hardware, but are boring AF, same goes for Ritz, Teg, Solinsky, Jager, Braun, Desi, Hartmann, and even that Kenyan who won Chicago this year.
The Gouchers will always have an audience, and that is what sets them apart. Shalane hopefully took notes on how to do publicity from Kara. Deena and Hall know the gig, they are marketable apart from their performances. Beardsley capitalizes on his Boston performance, and that has translated to $$$ and a living for him. Webb is somewhere in the middle. Fernando Cabada keeps himself quite relevant amongst semi-elites.
