How did Alan Yoho improve so much over the course of a year? He went from 7th string on the team to 1st, and his Woodward Park time dropped from low 16s to low 15s. That's crazy, what are they doing over there at flintridge prep?

Alan Yoho or someone in his immediately likes to toot his own horn. There was a random comment left on some article about rankings over on dyestat about Alan Yoho by a user ayoho22. By all means, be happy for the dude, I would be too if I was related to him or the dude himself. But enough self promoting anonymously in the internet.
Of course, this only applies if in fact you fit this description and are not just a guy making an observation.

Why bring this up? He's currently running GARBAGE times (for D1 anyway) (25:53 8k, 15:49 5k) at Brown, the community college of Ivy league schools.
Hope he's doing well academically because his running flatlined.

Shuayb Hussein went from not being in Wayzata’s top 7 in 2018 to getting 7th at the MN state meet in 2019, then getting 5th at NXR Heartland (getting the last NXN qualifying spot). At NXR 2019 he dropped almost 4 minutes off of his time at NXR 2018.
