If you post a pic of yourself on BB.com, People will support you and say "good job bro" and give constructive feedback. Here if you post a pic of yourself, you will suffer accordingly as people will make comments aimed to destroy yourself esteem.

Well there are no girls to torment on BB.com The few girls that are on there are hot.
Because the moderation of this board encourages trolls to be as awful as possible. Once you start, you just can't stop!
People on bodybuilding.com are doing something useful whereas people on here are just blabbing about Obama and high school and university track kids that will inevitably quit the sport anyway.
That's because posting pictures here would be weird and not serve a purpose besides serving someone's vanity. On BB.com it makes sense to post pics because that's what is judged for BBs.
If people posted their progression in running times along with their training, I think they would get a good amount of positive feedback and training suggestions. An example of this is Eddy Lee going for a sub-4 minute 1500.
The Canadian kid doing the daily beer miles got huge support.
Read that thread and tell me that LR isn't just like bodybuilding.com.
Bodybuilding.com is a great site for success logging, motivation and information on exercises. And yes, them ladies over there are way hawt.
The main difference is that the bros over there have a lot of self esteem so they rarely criticize and if they do it's rather constructive. Everyone has the same goal there - to get bigger/more ripped.
Example: if I were to post a picture on LRC, you guys would say:
- too broad shoulders
- biceps disproportionally big
- abs too ripped to be useful
- legs to powerful for long distance running
etc...basically all negativity
Too much estrogen. Example: Xfit_guy

You will never know if you never try.
C'mon, post it up bro! We're all curious.

misc is without a doubt the funniest place on the internet. Google malodrax.
It's because ALL of the guys on the bodybuilding sites are 'roided to the max. That guilt makes them no want to put another guy down in case he doesn't have access to the best drugs.
Based on this thread only, the BB mods aren't a bunch a freaking morons who insist on haphazardly enforcing their holier-than-thou morals on the people who keep their rat-hole website in business.
Oh, and the posters at BB are a bunch of lowbrow, butt-loving weirdos. I was also able to determine that as well.
I don't think the bb posters are butt-loving. They do type "no homo" to make their sexual-preferences clear.
That's a signal to other mos that they are mos and want to get it on mo style.

The folks at bodybuilding.com seem to have met you:

this crossfit gets such a bad rap more because of the people who do it rather than the sport itself.
No BB.com isn't quite like letsrun. They just call you guys gay.
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=139627103Of course, some of these comments also apply to the Lydiard nuts on LRC.
Lol!! post a picture of yourself in the Misc forum of bodybuilding.com and see how much support you get.

Yeah, that would indeed be funny. Scrawny coach D, all white and such. lol.
Also I think part of the reason is that aesthetic appeal is the biggest reason people lift at all. Anytime someone posts about breaking some time barrier or lifetime pr it gets positive feedback. If someone posted genuine weightloss pictures from running it would get good responses.

What is this "post a pic' functionality that you speak of?
