Joe Rosa might suit up at Nationals. For those of you who follow letsrun: I told you Stanford would be formidable. Let's see if they can knock it out of the park at nationals. Possible top three? We'll see.
I have no insight on this, but I highly doibt they would burn a year for Joe for one race, even if it is the big dance, too risky, without a single race under his belt and if he could not easily beat their 3-4 or 5, I am not sure what help it really lends at all

Stanford has a new coach so things might be different this year in terms of their performance in the Championship race. They know from practice where Joe Rosa is in his conditioning. It might be worth a season of eligibility to him to help get the team on the podium if he can contribute in a meaningful way, since you don't know if or when the opportunity might be there again. A couple of their top guys are seniors. But it seems unlikely that he would run in Indiana with no races under his belt this season.

Nope. Joe has hung it up for the season.
They tried out Joe and Graham at Sacramento two weeks ago.
They ran well enough to place top three of 85 guys in a mediocre race, but not well enough to convince anyone they had a good shot to crack the top five of the 'A' team in the two weeks left.
Really unfortunate. If those two had another month, this team would be battling for the title.
The crazy thing about Ephraimson is that in the past, she has been much better in the mile than in XC. Could be the second girl under 4:30 come spring.
