Sorry about the late reply.
There was no influx of new talent in cycling in the same way (African race).

this sport needs a check up from the neck up:
Kilel wins Frankfurt marathon in 2;22, best she has run all year is 1:15 for a 1/2, all of a sudden puts two 1;11 half's together.
Kilel w/ agent G. VanderVeen
lilian jelagat is popped for EPO....sources say she had a cold and got an EPO shot to treat it..........b/c thats what most people do when they get a cold; get an EPO shot. Maybe when someone gets a headache they should take HGH.
lilian jelagat's husband victor kipchirchir trains w/ Wilson Kipsang.....also a G. vanderveen athlete
Dennis Kimetto runs 2:04(eases up for 2nd....G. Mutai wins), 2:06(1st), and 2:03(1st)......and basically has no other credentials to speak of. Kimetto and G. Mutai with G. vanderveen
Wilson kipsang, Deniis Kimetto, Geoffrey Mutai, all 3 have all run under 2:04.........all 3 athletes are w/ G. Vanderveen
This all seems a little coincidental.
circumstantial at best.
Putting 2*1:11 can be explained by her being in heavy training while runnning 1:15. At the end of a 150mile week,
you can easily lose 6-8 min compared to being rested.

This African seemed convinced too. And perhaps her European agent.
just like the 4*400 relay team
at 1992 olympics didnt just discover epo
i know the history of kenyan 400m runners
but big difference between high 44 and low 44
which happened twice for two separate atheletes before athletes tried up and went to longer distances
all just within epo window.
who was the coach of this team anyway ,or where did they
train ?

AND WHO IS MANAGER OF BEKELE.
and pretty sure that his results due to
cera as fits timeline ,
roche had it in research in 2001-2002
as does wariner ,and former ethiopian world record holder
over similar distances as bekele ,
whoes longevity sure has alot to do with these peds.
and fact that cera is better at what does than
first or second generation epo's
just showes you how corrupt iaaf is ,
protected so many athletes during 90's and 2000's
with abnormal hct levels and did nothing .
and knew would be tested at 2008 games
CERA IS THE BEST FORM OF EPO !

All Americans think this way, but it doesn't seem to be helping.

Anyone have any info on this G. Vanderveen fella, can't get anything via Google.

when I get the flu, I don't think there is a doctor or pharmacist in the whole US who would propose injecting me with EPO
You obviously don't have a Rupp-certified physician:

but who was bringin it in...a bunch of doping doctors and agents some with links to doping in cycling
Ok. So ive been asking around my kenyan friends on facebook to try and get a feel for what is going on. I cant vouch for the accuracy of any of this information as I cant be sure if the people i am speaking to are 'in the know' or just passing on the rumours they are hearing themselves but they are people who are in Iten right now in amongst it all.
The general vibe i am getting is as follows:
Victor Kipchirchir is not to be trusted - he tricked his wife (the lady who has just failed the test) into takcing EPO on at least 3 occasions. It seems she is/was very niave and trustingand was being told that the injections were "to help with the cold climate in europe"
Since she failed he has kicked her out and they are no longer together.
He may or may not be using EPO himself and some of my sources say he openly boasts in Iten that he injects himself with EPO.
Victor has very 'red eyes' apparantly!
He is not closely connected to Wilson Kipsang. They occasionally run in the same group but this group is 60-80deep and is not an exclusive group - you just turn up and run. So its not really fair to expect Wilson to vet and approve every individual who turns up at the meeting place!
I am told that Victor is NOT one of Wilsons main training partners and they do not appear to be socially close either.
No one i spoke to thinks that Gerrard van der Veen is involved. They think it is individuals who are acting independently.
Thats all I've got on this particualr issue. No one was able to tell me who the doctor is that is administering EPO.
This is HUGE as this lady was from Volare Sports, the group that manages all the biggest names at the moment. Could be earthshattering fallout for the sport from this one.
The author of this thread led readers to believe that this story was going to be huge and earth shattering.
Several days later it is not even being reported in major news sites or papers and the only place it is being discussed is letsrun. I literally have not found this story
So much for earth shattering.
times bekele ran only possible with
unrestricted epo use or one of its other forms
right up to day of event .
like 1500m TIMES OF 90s was nessary to do so right up to event
for maximum enhancement .
something that stopping epo 2 weeks before then microdosing is not going to achieve
but nessary to pass tests .
so only leaves possibility that he was on a different form
of epo likely CERA WHICH COULD USE UNRESTRICTED .
was using cera way before others and when became
more popular the window closed .
micera is better than other epo's
and ramzi would never of any chance of winning that
olympics without it .
OK so what's happening her, let me summerize:
- WADA says kenyan doping controls are pretty much non existent and kenyans refuse to collaborate
- despite that, a high number of athletes (compare to Turkey, Russia) get busted
- the remaining Kenyans record ridiculous fast times, despite only having started running a coupla years ago ("genetics" my a$$)
Conclusion: testing is hardly conducted and who tests positive must be an idiot since they announce testing in advance
poor bekele has to get by on
restricted epo use nowadays .
be sure to keep that hct below 50 per cent !!!!!!
“Here, we encourage young athletes to race clean since there is no drug that can make you perform better other than the terrain you see around here.
“It is all about training harder and harder in these hills and valleys that are in places like here or Iten, staying focused and when you make it, avoiding the kind of lifestyle that will finish your strength.”
Geoffrey Mutai

Volare Sports mentioned in article:
http://www.capitalfm.co.ke/sports/2013/10/23/g-mutai-aiming-for-hat-trick-in-new-york/have an amazing number and quality of athletes, see
http://volaresports.nl/under 'PROFILES' heading and "medical assistance is being offered to our athletes by our team of specialists", see under 'ABOUT'.
"Victor... is not closely connected to Wilson Kipsang", but is part of the same Volare management group.
So, depending on who you believe, potentially a lot of athletes involved.
