What do you think about running daily, as in, taking no rest days? I usually run 4-6 miles a day, with a long run of 8-10 miles on the weekend (which will hopefully continue to increase). I feel anxious when I don't run, and try to avoid missing a day. However, this leads to anxiety when faced with things such as activities or vacations that potentially fill up my entire day and may not leave time for running. I think it would be interesting to see if anyone else feels like guilt when unable to run, and I would also like to know what you think about no rest days.
Somehow, I get these illogical thoughts in my head that if I miss a day, I'll suddenly lose fitness and gain ten pounds...
