I'm way out of luck. Ron Hill, Ryan Hill.
Maybe at the 50K and 50 miles I hold the "Hill" record.
There are only 8 people in the US with the same combination of my first and last name, so I could quite possibly be the fastest of THAT group. However, there are 1,451 people with my last name here, so there's a chance one could be faster. Kind of curious to start looking now though...
After looking at MileSplit and Athletic.net, and one Google search, I am the fastest with my last name that I could find. However, I did not find 1,451 people in my search, plus no historical results.
Doug Padilla, oh yeah.
118 people with my last name. YES
1001 people with my last name. I was mid pack D1 cross guy, maybe one person with my name is faster, doubt it though.
Disregarding the fact that I'm not that fast in the first place, there is someone with the same first AND last name as me who ran 3:46 in the 1500 last year. So I'm going to go with no.
I used to think about this a lot. My first and last name are both very rare - I have actually never met or heard of anyone outside of my family who shares either one of them. So could I be the fastest person with my first name of all time? (My 400 pr is like 57, but less embarrassingly I've run 15:08.)
There are two people in the USA with my same name, and one of them is my father!!!
No. Im not even the fasted person in my family.
fastest
I may be faster than Ryan Hall these days.
Another carpenter here. What are matt carpenter's actual PRs for marathon and below?
I've got the world's #1 rabbit with my last name. And I'm a female. Damn.
Damn, too bad my last name is Bekele-Kipsang...

Vaughn
Winner.
Rats. Was going through Athlinks and thought I had it won hands-down, but then I discovered that someone with my last name ran track at Stanford in the mid 2000s and turned in a sub 4 1500m. Started running seriously too late (my 40s) to touch that.
unfortunately not :(
Let me check
