lukas verzbicas will get his sh*t together and realize no one gives a f**k about triathalon and will break rupp's 10k AR and will win olympic gold
Well, I think Shayne and Alan Culpepper's oldest kid will be around 17 or 18 by then... so, with those Olympic running genes, I would put him up as a good chance.... probably in the 1500 before he moves up to the marathon like his Dad.
Ryan Hill in the 10K
Other than Mary Cain, none of these distance f@ggots.
Most of the US talent is young in the sprints and the high school ranks are crazy deep.
Bracy + about 4-5 others that are currently in high school or fresh/sophs in college could all take medals in the sprints, maybe even set an OR.
The female side is even deeper from 100m-400mh.

Barber is only going to be 21 this year and still improving, Little was 17 there and should've won the WJ title.
Oh yeah, arguably the #2 hurdler in the world this year didn't even run at worlds and is only 21, Kori Carter.
The 100/200 is insanely deep as always, with multiple sub 11 girl at 21 or younger. More are in the wings. Multiple sub 51 girls as well. If we can't win the 4x1/4x4 consistently, that is just sad.

This.
Cain could very well be a hollow shell of herself by then, given Salazar's touch with female athletes. It looks like Jager would hit a career peak for Rio, whatever that nets him. He could and probably will keep going, but he won't be sitting alone atop his event for that long. Centro probably just hit or is about to hit his career peak in the next year or two. The only thing that could sustain beyond that is Bernard's/Salazar's secret sauce.
We do have plenty more in the pipeline, 6+ years prior to London where were Centro, Jager, Wheating, Simpson, Rupp? U.S. is seeing a good and sustainable resurgence in development at the high school and collegiate levels, there will be emerging stars in the next few years who will be seasoned performers by 2020 and will probably have usurped today's young stars. This is a good thing, we shouldn't be able to know who will be medal contenders from our talent pool for 2020 in 2013, we should be focused on continuing to develop emerging talent and allow that development to happen fairly naturally.
