Didn't you rebalance recently, just before a sizable drop?
Any second thoughts now that it has probably rebounded plus some?
you want to twist the knife a little harder, SP? Maybe knee me in the groin while I'm buckled over?
just kidding.
Yeah, I took my stock portion down to around 62% from around 67%. I sold around 2% lower than we are today.
It's fine - I have to be disciplined and rebalance when I should.
The good news is that while the proceeds of that sale will go to bonds...I haven't made that buy yet. So I saved a bunch as bonds have lost valued from that point.
I'll probably buy when the 10 year hits 1.7 or 1.75%.
LOL.
Thx, and I gather a lot from your posts.
I've been there too many times myself. And I beat myself up a lot on the aftermath of these financial decisions.
This latest dip, I sold some on the way down, but gradually bought it back on the way up, and as of right now, I am less than 2% below my ATH that was set about a month ago. So, that's okay by me.
In work retirement account, I didn't touch that and they are up a hair as of right now.
