His portfolio is greatly in excess of $10M

From the Russians:
“In a stark example of how the market responds to any given Bloomberg headline, moments ago the dollar surged, rising to a one month high, after Chicago Fed President Charles Evans was quoted as saying that "the Fed could raise interest rates before the average 2% inflation target is reached":
EVANS: FED COULD RAISE RATES BEFORE AVG 2% INFLATION REACHED
The immediate result was a surge in the BBDXY which jumped to the highest since August 21...“

Sorry, I thought you were referring to the hoped for V-shaped recovery that has turned into an sleepy L.
I was referring to the actual V-shaped recovery that you highlighted a week ago.

I would also like to see this explanation.
Six of eight indexes on our world watch list posted losses through September 21, 2020. The top performer is China's Shanghai with a gain of 8.75%. Our own S&P 500 is in second with a gain of 1.24% and in third is Tokyo's Nikkei 225 with a loss of 1.25%. Coming in last is London's FTSE 100 with a loss of 23.04%.

I suppose it depends on whether you believe that Fed policies create serial bubbles, do little for economic growth, create economic disparity, and in the end social unrest. As of September 2019, the bottom 90 per cent owned US$4.6 trillion of equities, or 12 per cent of the total equity holdings.

That’s the point that you continued to miss. You’ve bemoaned the effect of the “retail investor” for years. But I have repeatedly reminded you that the vast majority of stocks are held by the wealthiest 10%. Now you suddenly reverse direction and feign compassion for the bottom 90%. Give me a break. You’re as phony as a $3 bill.

Huh? I have told you for years the retail investor acts as grease for institutions. Rich people get used by institutions as much as the little guy. They just have more to lose.

Speaking of phony, this post is 57 out of 60 since 2/1/2020.
