It triggered a bunch of my limit sales, though. Realized some nice gains this month.

May 7th: “Also on Thursday, Moderna announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2020. In its earnings release, the company said it had cash and investments of $1.7 billion. Moderna is a clinical-stage biotech company, and has no marketed products.“
Trump said there would be a vaccine by the end of the year. He promised.

And yet he hedges his bets, taking unproven drugs against the advice of his doctors. 4D chess indeed....

The explanation i've heard that makes sense to some extent is that he is creating a persona to appeal to his base that consists of a rogue, anti-authoritarian who defies and scorns conventions. Even conventions made by his staff and advisers, like wearing a mask. Why? Because his base feeds on it.
One might rightly ask what kind of model that sets for the country.....

Yes, one should be a good little boy and hunker down and let the economy collapse until Dementia Joe and the Fake News media tell us it’s safe to come out.
Here's what I'm looking at... a 5 wave up to a 61.8% retracement of the decline followed by an ABC correction wave with a breakout above B that appears to be the start of another 12345 wave. Resistance is at 3000, which also happens to be the 200d moving average. Resistance is next at 3153, which was the 4Mar high.
I've decided not to chase any of the vaccine stocks. This is not a "rising tide lifts all boats" scenario. Only one company will find a vaccine. Probably only one (or maybe two) companies will be awarded a vaccine contract. Everyone else will be left holding the bag and their stocks will drop.
I think data mining will eventually show that therapeutics are the best course of action for Covid 19... zinc, vitamin D3 + K combined with microdoses of hydroxychloroquine. Unfortunately, there's no profit in any of these supplements and hydroxychloroquine's patent has long since expired so there's no urgency in researching them.
Darn it. I hate that LetsRun doesn't have a 90 second edit after post feature. Here's the link.
This stuff cracks me up fisky!

You don’t need a vaccine when you have hydroxychloroquine.

He's not the only moronic world leader, I suppose, but he does set the bar pretty high...
Ha thanks for that, muy loca.
Coincidentally I wrote up a bit of a conceptual model for covid risk for internal consumption at work, and it includes both recursive looping and infinite branching, making it quite chaotic and unstable. I didn't make any effort to *compute* risk, rather I just tried to map it out best I could to understand what paths could potentially be controlled, and how.
