Like I said many businesses cannot operate that way, and have already pivoted. I know, I have brokered some of the deals.
There is cheap, and there is China cheap. Others are close, and have other important advantages. EU is out except for a few small slices, too expensive. Turkey, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Korea, etc all are competitive depending, and have advantages.
China has wrecked much of Canada and Australia through money laundering and screwing with commodities like copper. They are now infesting Africa, and with increasing liberalisation and printed money are now beginning to infest europe, as well.
They have made enemies and frenemies who are only too willing to now stand with us and deal around China. They have entirely destroyed their country and many of their own citizens to win this position. It is now time to pay up.
The US is leading, as always. Other countries are cucks and are unworthy of respect as far as their China policy is concerned. They just bend over and take it.
Who knows what the F Trump is thinking at any time, it is impossible to stand with or against him because you don’t know where he stands, or if he stands for anything at all. But this issue is multi-faceted. As a patent attorney I saw US industry raped by China, with limited recourse—and the flow of other information, especially military, is all in one direction.
They are not our friends. They are nobody’s friends—not Japan’s, not Russia’s, not Australia’s, not Canada’s, not England’s...Brazil maybe.
There are other interests than dollars at play here.
