Trump has very little to do with it. But believe what you want.

For anything that you say to happen? We have been. For 4 years.
Trump hasn't intimidated anyone in a long time. People just give him a rattle and pacifier and let him think he's a big important person. Dude can't even remember to sign important documents if they're taken off his desk. I can 100% assure he Powell isn't even a little bit afraid of this oversized toddler.
The Fed has been consistent in not knowing what the fvck they're doing for the past, I don't know, 90 years? Powell is just the latest in a long line of "well this seems like a good idea right now, right?" guessing gamers. The Fed has never had a plan to properly unwind the balance sheet and there has never been a solid plan of action to get back to "normal" interest rates. Powell's idea to make the Fed more data dependent (as opposed to ol' Greenspan's plan of "We're raising 5 times this year no matter what so get used to it") creates volatility because the data constantly changes and makes the Fed decisions more important than ever for equity prices.
Kudlow is mentally retarded. I mean this literally. His IQ is far below the threshold to be considered as such, and we should do our best to help and encourage him instead of making fun of him.

You’re history here as a stock picker suggests this will be a winner. Or are you again saying it’s different this time?

I don't see a bright future for Lyft and Uber. The retention rate for Uber drivers is 4% after one year. Something drastic is going to have to change for both companies to do well in the future.
Markets going like gangbusters again. NASDAQ might approach all-time-highs soon in the next month.

DJIA all time high is 26,828.39 so that's like 3% away at this point.

Let's all wait for Ghost to join in and announce how the market will soon be down around 13,000.

That is perhaps a closing high, the all time high is 26,951.81 10/03/2018.

Well, the 1st quarter didn't work out. I'm sure by the end of the 2nd quarter.

Let’s hope he isn’t, but I’ve seen too many bad ones to think it can’t be true.

Maybe after today the 15 month S&P 500 Index return will broach 1%.

Says the guy that manages $5 million. How do you make any money? You must be churning clients.

You wish you did as well as me. And I earned my money honestly.
Ghost - do you remember that thing I sent you that showed that CDs had negative real returns every year for the last 20 years except one? Do you still have that? I would like to look at that. Thanks.

No, never opened it since I have only invested in CDs recently. How about 20 years of half the historical average equity returns. Are you feeling lucky?

You are a one-trick pony. Either 15 months or 20 years. Let's talk about every other ten-year cycle. Oh, you would rather not?

Remember the disclaimer: “Past performance is not indicative of future returns.”

What about the other 81 months you've had this market doom & gloom mind-set?

You are correct. Counting intraday highs seem like cheating but technically count I suppose
