I don't know why some of you people don't understand that just because you have headphones on that you can't still hear what is going on around you. If I am listening to music on my runs and have to cross through traffic or a congested area I simply turn the music all the way down. It's pretty simple.
Unless you have the music blaring you can still hear what is going on around you.
