Rudisha is gone. Aman is WAY over-raced this year. Amos Is hurt. Souleiman and Solomon will be his biggest competition. I can see Nick and Duane on the medal stand.

Nothing would make me happier. Gotta love Nick Symmonds.
Symmonds caught a huge break with Rudisha being gone, not because Rudisha is one extra spot, but because no one will take it out in 49.x. In fact D-uane might be the one to take it out but it will be slow enough that Symmonds will be right on the pack (instead of off the pack like in London), and there won't be a gap between him and Solomon like in USAs.
i'll bet that duane leads though 600. he either holds it on through for gold or gets beat by symmonds at the line.
i see both of them medalling no matter what the 400 split is.
10 bucks says Symmonds won't even be in the final.
Aman FTW.

I would love to see Symmonds win. I think Soloman will but if they take 1-2 I don't care who wins.
And then promptly test positive for high doses of caffiene or another stimulant.
If Symmonds wins, I think the Brojos should close down letsrun. He's like the anti-Letsrun loser.
Over-raced? You're nuts.
Aman ran three 1:43's last year, then ran 1:43 in London, followed by two more 1:43's and topped it off with a 1:42.
So far this year he has run three 1:43's, so he's got at least 4 left.
Aman is a 1:43 machine. He's run 11. Symmonds has 6. Solomon and Johnson each have 2. Johnson has only been sub 1:45 four times.
Aman has beaten Rudisha twice.
Aman is the favorite if you pay attention to the 800m. He always digs down super deep the last 150m and grits away a win. It's tough to hold off a guy like that. Symmonds might be able to tactically win it though. Like if everyone thinks Solomon will take it out fast, but he only goes out in 51.xx Symmonds through in 52, and then moves up well enough the next 200m to position for the win.
Duane Solomon has a much bigger chance. I thought Souleiman would race the 1500m?

OP, you just got owned.
Why do you think this will go differently from the US trials? Symmonds won't be in a better position. Solomon or Bosse will take it out fast, and he'll be right at the back with Kszczot maybe, and he won't be able to overtake Solomon/Aman/maybe Amos if he's fit enough.
It's not impossible for Symmonds to win, because there's no clear favorite for Moscow. It's gonna be a lot of fun.
some surprise coming out of Africa is gonna take this one!!!
Solomon is a doper and I'm guessing he'll wind up getting caught sooner or later.

I'd take you up on that bet. Symmonds has made every global final since 2009, the guy knows what it takes.

No you don't.

This. A guy who stagnated at 1:45-1:46 for years and now pops off a 1:42. Doesn't pass the sniff test.
I think Kszczot wins it. Or maybe Kszczot. No, wait, I meant Kszczot, not Kszczot. Those dudes confuse me.
Kszczot beat Kszczot by a hair, with Aman in third.

Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
